Well, my reader, thank you for your attention.
Should you be a believing Christian already, read the Bible and carry on learning. Also keep up the good work and go out into the whole world and lead people to Jesus the Saviour of the World.

Should you be an Atheist, a Humanist, or in a cult, or any other 'ist', this is just for you.
Let me say straight away that I am utterly tolerant of whatever you believe. Your beliefs are none of my business.
The Bible says that mankind has freewill and thus we can do what we decide to do. It is our responsibility to get it right.
   In a human court of Law it is no defense to plead Ignorance of the Law.

Here is the case for your consideration. You can still read what you want to read and look at what you want to look at. This may not last much longer. Surveillance is growing rapidly in all walks of life.
      Two thousand years before September 1999 ad a baby was born who was destined to become Jesus the Messiah. 22,000 books were written about His life and teachings, from 40 ad to 250 ad roughly. 500 people saw him as risen from being dead and they went on and lived for  the usual length of life of those days. They were His witnesses for the next 50 years or so. Today Jesus has approximately 2 billion believers. Twice as many as any other belief system. One third of the present World population. Two thirds therefore, decline to believe in Him. Presumably, right now, you are one of them. This is quite understandable for you will have been subjected to the most intense propaganda since the year 1880 ad. This was when the World became mad for Science. 120 years ago.
God and Jesus became 'old fashioned' from then on.
   In spite of Science, the evidence for Jesus did not go away. Men ridiculed it and tried to hide it or change it. But it would not go away.
Joshua McDowell has written two superb books about the evidence for Jesus.
Although you may be an Atheist or Agnostic you will know all about Jesus. So I think that apart from isolated pockets, most of the 6 billion people of the World know of Him.
   What was His purpose in coming and dying so horribly ?
The gripping true account of His life and death and His teachings are, initially, to get us to understand a number of things about being human. Men are ALL by  nature, what are called 'SINNERS'.
I am not going to debate this, except to say, that if you do not discipline a child, it will grow up to be a self obsessed monster.
Our parents prevent this in the main, for the sake of the rest of us.
Jesus came for SINNERS. What for? To request and suggest that they apologise to God for their sinful behaviour and believe in Him, in Jesus whom God sent. The paradox is that Jesus said, "He who has seen Me has seen the Father(God)."
Therefore, in a way that we humans find difficulty in perceiving, Jesus is God. This is the subject of the doctrine of the Trinity.
I will not bother to go into this now, for it is not immediately relevant. When you become a Christian you will see it. As you will immediately see a lot of things. You will find these out for yourself, not be subject to propaganda. This will come about through reading your Bible. Please get one. The world's No 1 best seller, all the time.
Why do you think that Tyrants always try to burn or destroy it? They don't bother about any other book !
The Book of John gives a good understanding of Jesus.
   So all you have to do is repent and believe. Apologise and believe and ask for God's forgiveness.
"Oh, I'm not going to do that." you might retort.
Have you ever wondered why you react like that? Meditate upon it, it's very interesting to know yourself.
Or you might say, " Well, O.K. I'll give it a try."
That's all I did, gave God a chance. ("not give peace a chance".) I was a terrible sinner and it's not all gone yet.
 In casual obedience I said  what is known as the sinner's prayer. Out loud with a Christian standing there as he prompted me. Here it is.
Afterwards a wonderful feeling of peace descended upon me and has remained ever since. It's great!

A covenant agreement.
How many people are involved in a Covenant? Two or more.
In this case it is the Lord and the sinner. Jesus prayed His part of the agreement from the Cross as He shed His precious blood on your behalf, saying:- "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."

now you respond-- like this:-

Part 1.(say it out loud.) There is a good reason for this.Your part, please say these words as sincerely as you are able.


"Lord Jesus Christ- I come to you now-because I am a sinner.
Today, Lord Jesus--I repent of my sin--turn away from my sin--and I turn to you."
Part 2.
"I believe, dear Lord,--that You died for me. I, (say your own name here) "thank you Lord--because your blood covers all my sins. No one else can save me--only Jesus.
Part 3.
"Right now I open the door of my heart(put your right palm to your chest as if opening it  outwards )--Come into my heart, Lord Jesus--wash me--Cleanse me--and make me your child--I receive you now by faith. Help me to live for you every day until you come again. I close the door of my heart"   (use you hand and now make a gesture as if closing the door of your heart. Bring your hand back down onto your chest)         " and you are on the inside."
"I thank you Lord Jesus, because today, by faith I have received you, and you have received me."......" Amen"

Here is the Promise.
"...........to as many (anybody) as received Him (Jesus).......... to them gave He power to become the sons of God......"
Your choice today gives you the power, and right, to call yourself a Son of God. Praise Him now in your own words.

That which is in your heart must come out of your mouth. This is your starting point.
Now:- Steps to help you continue on for Christ.
1) Pray daily, speak to him about your life, ask for His help.
2) Read your Bible daily. Start with John's Gospel book because it speaks of salvation and everlasting life.
3) Witness, or tell others about Christ.
4) Link up with a Bible based Christian group or Church.( I may be able to help you here as I can locate them through friends in many different groups and denominations.
5) Get a born again Christian to pray this over you.
 "Be anointed in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

This is the sinner's prayer used by Barry Smith of New Zealand. It covers the waterfront as they say.
It doesn't take long to get born again, does it?
When you have contacted some Christians, and boy will they rejoice to meet you, tell them what you've done and ask them to baptise you with full immersion in water.
